Ode to Corona – COVID 19

Feeling lost in isolation, not by choice but consideration
of the sick and the weary. I have a thought, a whim, a theory.

I once wrote about desolation, the end of times through mans equation.
My theory now is there is hope, salvation though a minute scope.
To love and laugh though darkest times, will ease our soul and mend the crimes.

6 feet away or 6 feet near, those we love won’t disappear.
Trapped for now but freedom breaks, in one month, two months, we will all awake.

A new day comes and changes made, no longer sad, and less afraid.
The rough terrain, we made it through with the sunshine from a friend in you.
I wish you love and joy forever, knowing we’ll prevail together.
